Welcome to the 26th issue of the Coaches Clipboard, Basketball BC's free coaching resource for high school and youth coaches. The conclusion of the Olympics ended a long summer of basketball for those who are involved in our game during the "off-season". Congratulations to our Basketball BC's U15 and U17 Provincial Teams and Coaches for their performances at the National Championships this August.

BC U17 Boy’s Team - 4th Place

BC U17 Girl’s Team - 3rd Place

  • Awards: Diana Lee – Handsworth – 1st All-Star
  • Kristina Collins – Riverside – 2nd All-Star

  • Awards:  David Wagner – South Kamloops – 1st All-Star

BC U15 Girls’ Team - 2nd Place

  • Awards: Lexie Der – St. Thomas More – 1st All-Star
  • Stephanie Bell – Argyle – 1st All-Star

 

On the National Team front several BC athletes represented Canada on the International stage.  Here is a list of the athletes and coaches who wore the red and white this summer:
